Master Practical Applications and Design of Intrusion Alarm Systems teaches students how to select and apply proper detectors, control panels and  communication devices in a variety of intrusion system applications.  The course provides instruction on basic electronics and how it pertains to system design, component selection and troubleshooting. Included is information on system testing and commissioning, as well as project management.  It concludes with a two-hour examination.  (NTS 1.4 CEUs)

Residential Fire Alarm

The logical next step in professional development for individuals with experience designing, selling installing, servicing and maintaining residential intrusion systems. Both technical and sales staff will expand their knowledge of installation, service and maintenance of residential fire alarm systems in seven hours of intensive instruction.  The course concludes with a one-hour examination.
