WIESA, the Wisconsin Electronic Security Association is the first state chapter of the national association to implement an Apprenticeship Program for the security industry in the U.S that could become a national model. The program was unveiled on November 1, 2014.
“The program will provide a career opportunity to individuals with a desire to develop skills which will allow them to help people in very tangible ways while earning excellent compensation. It will also open doors to unlimited earnings potential and a very satisfying career,” notes David Koenig, WIESA Apprenticeship Chair.
Merlin Guilbeau, “The WIESA apprenticeship program will enable the industry in Wisconsin to build a well-trained labor force. It establishes a framework that can be utilized by the employers to increase employee loyalty, reduce training costs, attract more applicants, and improve productivity. All of this translates into a valuable service to public safety.”

WIESA’s 2014 Annual Memorial Golf Outing will be named in remembrance of Tom Girmscheid who passed away in a traffic accident on his way home after work. Come and join us as we celebrate Tom’ s life and get a great day of golf in. Golf Club’s 27-hole layout offers golfers of all abilities a unique and exciting experience. The golf course is very playable yet challenging enough for a sense of accomplishment.
